<br />
I'm not a "good team member". In fact I don't really keep up to date on <a href="http://dolobojewelry.etsy.com/">my Etsy shop</a> like I should, I've been so busy with taking care of my mother and father, but it's times like this I'm proud to be an Etsian. Just yesterday my team Captain found out about a man in Ames, Iowa that lost his home to a fire last August, and already we are 23% to a goal of raising $5000.00. This man is getting over a grand sent out already. Times like this I'm proud to be an Etsian. I'm off to donate.<br />

Not too much news here on the blog, probably because it's unofficially somewhat official (since we are announcing it here first) that DoLoBo has been very busy helping <a href="http://www.iramency.com/">Ira Mency</a> with a new jewelry line. Suffice to say we can only give you hints and clues what this line may contain.<br />
<br />
<u><b>Fact: </b></u><br />
DoLoBo, uses an old school wire wrapping technique and usually works with Sterling Silver or Gold Wire.<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://ny-image3.etsy.com/il_570xN.140586535.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://ny-image3.etsy.com/il_570xN.140586535.jpg" width="212" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><i><b>DoLoBo's ancestral wire wrapping techniques are sold everywhere in Baltimore's art circles and now on Etsy in his <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/DoLoBoJewelry">DoLoBoJewelry</a> shop.</b></i></span></td></tr>
</tbody></table><br />
<u><b>Fact: </b></u><br />
Ira Mency is an environemtalist who likes using recycled goods in her work.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://ny-image1.etsy.com/il_570xN.190636137.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="256" src="http://ny-image1.etsy.com/il_570xN.190636137.jpg" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><i><b>Mency's upcycled jewelry ring contains vintage buttons.</b></i></span></td></tr>
</tbody></table>This begs the question of what these two possibly concoct? Their last collaborated project was the fantasy fiction novel, <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Prism-Book-One-Ira-Mency/dp/1441508848">"The Prism, Book One, Princess Nedia.</a>..." Mency was unable to be reached to comment. However, nosey neighbor Duane Kwame' Jackson-Bellfonte' told us, "Mency probably employing the help of skilled artisan DoLoBo for a handmade pendant line. She mentioned that's what she's up to, and I know she can't wire wrap so he's probably teaching her. That's all I know."<br />
<br />
<i><b>PENDANTS?</b></i><br />

<i><b>Stay tuned.....</b></i>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6982307450285992077.post-62545798092123319712010-11-25T19:04:00.000-08:002010-11-26T07:15:42.501-08:00DoLoBo & The JK Train Garden - Baltimore, Maryland<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Choo chooooooooooooo!</td></tr>
</tbody></table>In light of the holidays swiftly approaching, and the weather getting cold, makes me think of last year's visit to the Jacques Kelly train garden and how exciting it was to see some of the old <a href="http://dolobo.blogspot.com/p/sculpture.html">Sculptures</a> that my father and I made. <br />
<br />
Enjoy. <br />
